Can a Snap Server be used for storing large mpeg media files, especially ones that are larger than 2GB?

The limitation on a single file is the following in these file systems:

File System
File Size Limitation
NFS
Limited to 2TB by the SnapOS file system
Apple
2GB
Novell
2GB
SMB (NT-SMBs disabled)
4GB
SMB (NT-SMBs enabled)
Limited to 2TB by the SnapOS file system

Note the maximum number of files per folder on a SnapOS powered Snap Server is 32,000.

File size limitations will be affected by an application's ability to copy large files. For example, a backup application may have a file size limit of 2GB. Please reference the copy application documentation for further recommendations and/or limitations.
