After entering the username and password for web administration, the page returns the following error:
Error 500 Internal Server Error
Sorry, this server has encountered a system configuration error. Please see your system administrator for further assistance.
What could be the cause?
This information applies to the following Operating System(s): This information is not Operating System specific.


The error may appear if the /flash/config.ini and /flash/config.bak files are damaged. The files are vulnerable to damage following a crash or when the system is shutdown ungracefully.

You may also notice the message below in the log.

sysbroker: DefaultAdapter: Exception caught invoking getServer on mango Error ID = 100422

Follow the steps below to restore access to the web administration page.

1. Rename both the config.ini and config.bak files.

2. Login to the web administration page and go through the setup wizard.

3. If a disaster recovery image was saved previously, it can be use to restore old settings.

4. Run file system check on md100root.
